Winner of Smash a Pot

There was definitely a winner at last month's Smash a Pot to celebrate Gena Marie getting new kidneys.

It was whoever got this potter shard on the studio roof.

You have to be impressed. Not only did they have to get it up there, they had to get it around the corner from the original angle. It's a little distance--a trick shot, if you were trying on purpose.

It's the Olympics!

Why would potters and their friends threw pottery at walls? They claim it's to create pieces for artwork that they plan on doing. I have never actually seen any such work ever made. It might just be a myth.

Let's just call this "art."

Year into blog relaunch (Grapevine and mental health update)

 Given my multiple month silence on this blog, and its recent birthday, let's do a status update. Khari's Garden with a little grape vine. We are still doing the Garden Parties. Because Khari gets bored without friends and company around. The same reason that she is polyamourous---and I am not. All my events have been killed, and with good reason . . . a colon test came back bad, so I have a physical health problem on top of the mental ones. Took me off the majority of my meds (bipolar and anxiety/panic) and put me on an anti-psychotic that crashed a brick through my sphere of sensation. First open 2026 event (June 13 Garden Party)

We will be doing a Garden Party/ Drumming/ Ritual on June 13, 2026. At the moment, the guest list is mostly Dragonfest staff, due to Khari being involved with Kidfest; but I am open to showing off the garden to anyone who shows up . . . because I am lonely.  Oregano--how big will it be in a month? The potluck is "cover your own dietary needs first." Khari is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free, due to IBS. So she will probably make a dish along those lines for us. That or we will be BBQing all beef hot dogs.  The ritual will be whatever the mood is, but I fairly sure that there will be some drumming.  June 13, 2026 2727 N. Cook St. Denver, Colorado 80205 Helpers and close friends show up at 5pm. Regular folks at 6pm. Khari likes the ritual/ drumming to start at 7 pm. Closing at 9 pm. Lockdown at 10 pm.

Building a godform creation guidebook (How my Golden Dawn study night went)

 After the drama of multiple schedule, "It's on--it's off because Khari's a fickle artist," one might be interested in how my scheduled Golden Dawn study night went off. Or not.  Pretend to be as interested as this chick here. Could it be godform coloring night? First, let me get my grief about the event scheduling out of the way. I wanted a regular schedule, and Khari's an artist with an health condition who wants to be able to "on-and-off" her event as she wishes. Therefore, there is no long term advertising, just short. Not exactly how my style of marketing works.
