Before Khari fled the city to avoid the 4th of July fireworks, she unloaded the kiln.

| Because I am a pimp of pottery, this is what my blog looks like. |
I have no children, no works of my own to share, just my wife's business, otherwise just rage. That's what the UFO aliens monitoring me will report now that my demon has been removed. It's a sad life as I slowly disappear in this woman's need to be the only business in operation under this roof. Thankfully, she is doing her own photos now. I am done with that. She discovered that she can take them all with her phone, and upload directly to Etsy--either to Celtic Soul, or Khari's Wiccan Treasures (both seem to be on vacation now--hence no links--I could not get to either place on Etsy--she says she's a business person). Don't ask me what piece is going to be on what shop--I can't explain the logic, and I am not sure that it is the best thing for her overall pottery sales . . . but she's an artist; she knows best--they all do--which is why I don't own a gallery--count the knives in my back.

| Khari says that they feel like money--is she minting money? |
| Fridge magnets are their real purpose. |
| But the gamer in me does see game tokens--bad gamer. |
| Test pet bowls for Khari's cousin--she needs to make more pet bowls, right? |
| The Anubis plates are a new addition to the lineup. |
| This runic plate is not for safe, but you might be seeing it in future blog posts. |
| That Tree of Life plate will go fast, as will the Mermaids. |
| This firing was blues and greens--oh look, turtle plates. |
| You have to love a Bee plate, right? |
| Again, notice that this kiln was all blues and greens. |
| These fridge magnets do look like a dragon hoard of gold, says the no longer plays D&Der. |
| I do believe that I like the Anubis plates the best. |
| I really like the hexagonal plates for altars--call me a witch. |
This firing as one can see (hopefully--sometimes, the blog refuses to show photos) this kiln firing was blues and greens--for two reasons. One, Khari ran out of space in the kiln (we need to upgrade the kiln; both to increase production, and because of equipment breakdowns). The second reason is that the purple glazes do better on their own.
Yeah, the alchemy of pottery glazes involve Fire and Air, along with Earth and Water. Or in practical terms, High Heat meets Airborne Chemicals, including Oxygen Consumption, along with Gravity pulling down liquidified glazes. Put that in your alchemical pipe, and smoke it. You wonder why I spend time with Ghost Snape--that's why--he understands that stuff. Khari understands it in the Soviet Artist Way--she does it; it works; don't ask for a chemical formula, she's not a rocket scientist. She's an ABC teacher with learning disabilities, helping families coming into our society--she is a Rosicrucian Healer.
Anyways, if you live in Denver, perhaps it just easier to drive by the studio because she has Summer Hours right now. As in Khari is working in the garden and the studio, with a break out for BearFest (because she volunteered to work with kids), so if you have cash--or maybe a debit card (she has one of those fancy account with a service)--you might skip the Etsy search, and the Post Office adventure . . . and the possibility that I might catch a snake, slipping it into the box, surprising everyone . . . I stay in the house until 4 pm.
Khari's Wiccan Treasures & Celtic Soul
2727 N. Cook St., Denver, Colorado 80205
We just north of the Denver Zoo and City golf course--it's a residential area. "Business in the front, family in the back" as my dad used to say. We used to be a Father and Son business; it's tradition. Nowadays, it's me and a ghost--we sell herbs and spell kits.
